I have loved cameras for as long as I can remember. The idea that a lens could freeze a moment in time and pull it out of the current and hold it still felt like something worth understanding.

During my time at the University of Nebraska Lincoln I started exploring that curiosity. First renting a camera from the university, then buying my own. I was not thinking about a career. I was just following something that would not leave me alone.

I never considered myself an artist growing up. That did not feel like a real path. What changed everything was realizing that telling stories on camera was not just meaningful. It was sustainable. The moment I understood that, I have not looked back.

Through the years I have been fortunate to connect with talented people in this industry who let me learn alongside them. Those relationships shaped how I think about the work and how I approach every project.

I believe everyone has a story worth telling. Speakeasy Visuals exists because of that belief.

The name comes from the Prohibition era. Speakeasies were hidden spaces that felt more refined than everything outside their doors. That idea stuck with me. What we make should feel elevated. Like you found something most people walk right past.

I love what I do. And I am proud of the work I get to be a part of.

This work means everything to me.

Every project I take on reflects who I am as a filmmaker and as a person. I got into this because I believe stories matter. That has not changed. I care about getting it right, not because I have to, but because this is what I love doing.
